Editorial Review Full of hot air? Get some mileage out of it! Test your knowledge (real and/or make-believe) as well as your bluffing ability in this creative word game. There are five categories of questions (words, people, initials, movies, and dates). A question is selected from one of the categories and each player writes down an answer, either trying to answer the question correctly or hoping to bluff the other players with an inventive, believable-sounding answer. You score points for guessing the correct answer or fooling the others with your phony answer. Thinking cap required. --Alison Golder

Great Game, Buy it from [...] April 11, 2010 C. Poukka (Kosovo) This game is fun. I really enjoy spending time with my friends. The only problem is that if you buy it online you pay around $60. I bought one off of Amazon and when it got to me the seller left the goodwill sticker on it and the price they paid was $2.99. [...]
Beyond Balderdash December 8, 2009 Lenie (Brentwood, TN USA) Quite an enjoyable game. For those not interested in writing during family game sessions, this game is not for you.
The Movie Questions Rule! October 13, 2009 Frank E. Scialdone (Rochester, NY) This game is so much fun. We have been having Balderdash Parties for years now. I'm living in China now. Teaching English. We have 5 or 6 English speaking friends and some Chinese friends that speak great English. We have Balderdash Game Nights 2 times a month. The games last for 8-10 hours. You an play the game seriously or you can make up the most outrageous definitions and watch your friends read them. The best ones are the Movie Titles. Get this game.
get good at lieing August 26, 2007 C. Bongard (Blacksburg, Va USA)
This game is really fun and it actually works best when you play with people you don't know that well, because most people already know how to tell their friends are lying. But overall this game is a lot of fun.
This isn't a load of balderdash December 2, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This year at Thanksgiving we decided to play Balderdash, a game which had been sitting at the back of my cousin's closet forever. I played with my aunts, uncles, and 6 of my cousins. We played for hours and had a blast. One of my younger cousins did exceptionallly well. I give this game 5 stars all the way! Besides showing off our creativity we laughed our selves silly( I actually felll over and off my chair because I was laughing so hard at one point!)
